QA Engineer

• Defining Entry Criteria whereas reviewing requirements specifications(BRD & FRD) and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases and execute it on required basis
• Test cases include positive & negative test cases/ use cases with appropriate screen caps
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Clear understanding of the requirements & Unit testing documents from the developers is a must
• Design, develop and execute test artifacts
• Perform Smoke Test, Sanity test, Functional Test, System Test when the application is given to testing
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and ensuring bug free output from the development team based on client requirement.
• To develop and execute exploratory tests as well as usability tests in order to ensure product quality
• Defining Exit Criteria whereas recording the activities of testing in the repository and test closure when the quality requirements and specifications met.
• Regression and performance testing to be performed with appropriate test cases once the site is live.
• Understand the client’s product and business requirement from website perspective and provide 100% user experience.
• Ensure that the number of client escalations due to lapses in QC is minimal
• Should be able to suggest new functionalities useful to the client

Skills Required

• Engineering graduates with high experience in QA / testing on e-commerce platforms like magento & Shopify.
• 3  to 6+ years experience with QA .
• Proven working experience in software testing quality assurance & control
• Exceptional understanding of the Ecommerce platform and its working
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools selenium
• Strong knowledge of software quality methodologies, processes and procedures
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and other artifacts required
• Hands-on experience with black box testing design, concepts and developments
• Solid knowledge in an Agile/Scrum development proces
• Experience working with eCommerce Projects(Web and Mobile Application Development)
• Certified in ISTQB foundation level / Agile Testing Extension of ISTQB in foundation level
